I collaborate with organizations and brands that align with my mission; incorporating healthy habits into the daily lives of service industry professionals. By forming wellness communities such as the Comedor Run Club and in-restaurant Service Industry Yoga sessions, as well as providing mental health resources as the Austin chair for the Ben’s Friends nonprofit organization (501c3), I am always welcoming new ways to create space for connection within the hospitality sphere.
When considering wellness in the service profession, it is just as important to consider food origin and the commitment to thoughtfully sourced food, as well as the continuing need to practice these ideals. By partnering with the local food economy beyond the restaurant space, I can also learn how to best share and grow this knowledge with restaurant and hospitality professionals.
